I can hardly believe a year ago I was studying abroad. I was happier than I could have possibly imagined, exploring thigs left and right and never wanted to turn back. As we all konw all good things eventually come to an end. Thankfully that end of studying abroad, just made me thirstier for travel and adventure.
Im not done riding a quad on a whim with friends to a beach on Santorini...
or laughing at the fact that they didn't spell cocktails correctly...
or sitting on top of a castle in Rome...
wondering what the city was like a thousand years ago...
laughing with friends after a long ass day of traveling...
having greek gladiator sandals made specifically for my feet...
looking at the hand crafted pottery...
enjoying a beautiful sunset with friends and laughing about god knows what...
To be honest, I don't think I will ever be done traveling. I did find a way to temporarily calm the urge. I booked a flight to Milan for after graduation with my best friend. As of now, the only plan we have is that we want wine. In northern Italy and southern France, I don't think that goal will be hard to accomplish. So what will we be doing over this trip? Hopefully we will stop by some vineyards and do some wine tasting and eating amazing food.
Even though we don't have a plan yet, I already cant wait for the trip to begin. Part of the thrill of the trip is not knowing whats going to happen at all times and the fact that we will be able to do things at our own pace. Some of the places we want to go besides chic Milan are AIX en Provance, the Riviera, Nice, Cannes and god knows what else is in store for us, for all I know I could fall in love and stay forever.
All I know, I'll have my camera ready, a glass of wine in my hand and well thats about all I'm prepared for so far.
