what to wear on the weekend...

To be totally honest, I never feel like putting any energy to what I wear on the weekends if I am just hanging around, doing homework or running errands. This weekend, while I should have been doing my homework, I decided to do other things.

Not a single one of the errands I ran today were necessary, I actually did all of them as a gift to myself. Annoyed that I had a hair appointment at 9 in the morning on a Saturday, I dragged my lazy ass out of bed and downstairs for a cup of coffee.

As I attempted to sit peacefully with my coffee reading the NY Times on my iPad, the demon dog is trying to get my attention to play. So instead of spending the few moments I had peacefully, next thing I know I'm on the floor with the dog trying to get him not to bite me. As enjoyable as that was, I realized I only had ten minutes to look presentable before I had to leave.

I quickly threw on my go to weekend outfit. To no surprise I'm sure it is the same as many twenty-something year olds. As I'm running up the stairs to my room, trying not to spill my coffee in the process, I am trying to remember where everything is in my room. Thankfully, everything I wanted to throw on was right on top of my weekend bag that I had home with me. It is amazing that I can find anything in a room that looks like a bomb of clothes went off in it.

What I'm Wearing

Having put on classic white converse, black Lululemon leggings, and a dark grey Lululemon long sleeved shirt. I also threw on a vest from Patagonia to add some color to the look and it helps with the weather not knowing if it wants to be spring or not yet. Finally grabbed my green Ostrich print bag, threw my makeup on hair up into a bitch bun and out the door I went.

I had a great Saturday, I got my hair cut into a sleek classic look. Spent some time at Nordies treating myself to some more arm candy and other jewelry. And since I signed a job contract for the "real world" I may or may not have treated myself to a new Tory bag...

until next time... xoxo J
